The International Laser Class ("ILCA") is the men's and women's singlehanded Olympic class with the Women competing in the ILCA 6 which is a smaller sailplan than the Men's ILCA 7.  Patrons of the Third Coast Sailing Foundation were instrumental in hosting the 2022 World Championships in 2022, sailed on Galveston Bay
